The past week or so at the office has been maddening. Long story short...I’m essentially caught in the middle as two directors battle for control. So my life has been spent trying to please two masters. And as one can imagine that has left me exhausted when I get home.
My weekends, however, have still been busy trying to make a dent in the items on my list of 101 items. Today let’s cross off item #90. Start an herb garden. Say hello to my little garden.
My little garden includes basil, rosemary, tarragon, thyme, chives and a pepper plant. See my little pepper. (You'll have to look really close. Can't see it? Well, then you'll just have to trust me.) I’m quite proud of that lil’ guy. I used some of the rosemary last night when cooking dinner and I truly believe those potatoes were the best I have ever roasted.
If this summer hadn’t been so freakin’ hot, I would expand my little container garden to include a salad box. However, I’m afraid it may be too late in the summer for that. Guess there’s always next year.
And here’s a bonus shot featuring my artistic side that was inspired by my sweet kitty. Don’t worry. There aren’t any plans to quit the day job.

I just hope your "sweet kitty" does expand her litter box to include your herb garden.
We recently installed a garden window in our kitchen and are also enjoying fresh herbs.
Oops!!! Oh so sorry!!! I mean I hope your "sweet kitty" does NOT expand...
Jerry, given my kitty isn't allowed out the herbs are safe. I haven't decided if I'll take up that battle this winter.
